Bournemouth & District Society of Model Engineers
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Muscliff Community Centre.
Meetings start at 7.30pm. Details of meetings can be found on www.littledownrailway.co.uk
The Society has been established for over 80 years and has a membership in excess of 120. There is a track located in Littledown Park operated throughout the year on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10.30 am until 3.30pm, subject to weather conditions.
Members of the Society have a broad range of interests including: Clocks, Stationary engines, Petrol engines, Electric and steam locomotives, Traction engines, Steam wagons, Electronics and Machine tools.

Muscliff Community Playgroup (Community Run)
We take children from 2½ years to school age. Please get your name down on the waiting list from birth to 1 year as we are always oversubscribed.
Our opening times are as follows:
Monday 9.30am - 2.30pm
Tuesday 9.30am – 1.30pm
Wednesday 9.30am – 2.30pm
Thursday 9.30am – 12.30pm
Friday 9.30am – 12.30pm
Please note we are open term time only.

Muscliff Garden Club
Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month @ Muscliff Community Centre.
Meetings start at 7.30pm.
Annual subscription is £12 payable in September.
Visitors £2.00
Refreshments 50p, Raffle tickets 50p
Monthly meetings are varied including: Gardens here and abroad, Wildlife and local history, Garden design and planting schemes which provide colour and interest throughout the year.
Demonstrations – taking cuttings, pruning, planting up containers and hanging baskets, and flower arranging ideas
We also run outings to gardens (local and further afield) and most years a visit to Wisley! There are also visits to open gardens where we enjoy a cream tea!
We have a sales table where members can buy fruit, vegetables and of course plants.
The only months we don’t have a speaker are April, which is our social evening, and August, which is our AGM.

Throop W.I (Women’s Institute)
A friendly women’s group.
Monthly meetings are held on the 1st Friday of each month at Muscliff Community Centre (No meeting in August). Meetings start at 2pm.
Annual subscription is £30 with no additional charges for meetings or refreshments.
If you join you will: Make friends, Learn new skills, Hear interesting and informative speakers at meetings
Have the opportunity to take part in social activities. Make your voice heard in local, national and international issues.

Sugarcraft Guild
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Muscliff Community Centre.
Meetings start at 7pm for 7.30pm start, finishing at 10pm
Annual subscription is £15
Meetings are £2 per night to include tea or coffee and biscuits.
We have various topics on sugarcraft as well as demonstrations and workshops including: Air Brushing, Appliqué, Bas Relief, Brush Embroidery, Chocolate work, Figure modelling, Flower paste, Pastillage, Pressure piping, Royal icing and Sugarpaste.
